My Thoughts:

This was an intense book to read. There is a lot going on and not at all what I expected. I was expecting a more watered down version of this I suppose. The author makes it realistic and points out the ways people can go astray in so many terrible ways.

I liked the authors writing style and how realistic everything was. I was uncomfortable at different parts of the book. There were different things going on that were dark and not at all what I’m used to. Overall it was a really good book and I’m happy I read it.

About the Author

John Faubion was a foreign missionary in Vietnam, Guam and to the Chinese for nearly thirty years. Then a professional software engineer for more than twenty years after that.

He’s the father of five children, and lives in central Indiana with his wife.

The only solution, both for him and the one he falls in love with, is to know God, and get access to the supernatural weapons he never dreamed existed.
