‘Twas the Night Before Jesus is a beautifully illustrated picture book that introduces children to the life of Jesus and God’s promise of an eternal home in heaven. As the melodic rhyme carries children through Jesus’s birth, death and resurrection, they come to understand the true meaning of Christmas.

My Thoughts:

This is an adorable book. It does a great job of telling a basic story of Jesus' life and how he is waiting for us in Heaven. I read this with my kids and my 6 year old really enjoyed the rhyming in it.

I was expecting a book just about Christmas but this one isn't. I liked how it wasn't everything about Jesus life but it was the 'highlights' and it was written so the kids get the idea and mine asked questions. I think this would be a good addition to a church library or any home with young children.
